Review of Board of Directors (BOD):

  • Paul requested a review of the BOD to allow some members to vacate open positions and others with the desire to step in.

Resignations:

  • Erin, Bob, and Bill have decided to step down from their board positions.

Nominations and Voting:

  • Discussion ensued regarding current and potential board members.
  • Ryan B, Robert Huett, and Rick Biddle were nominated to fill the vacant positions.
  • A vote was taken, and all three were approved by a majority vote.

Trail Enhancements:

  • Potential enhancements were discussed, including trail labeling and maps in the system.
  • No definitive direction was decided upon, and brainstorming of multiple ideas is ongoing.

Fundraising and Donations:

  • A huge thank you was noted for the seven people who donated $700, providing the necessary funds to continue work on the latest trail build.
  • Ideas for other fundraising opportunities were discussed, highlighting the high cost of other trail builds in the local area compared to SCS, which was 20 to 30 times cheaper with our volunteers.

Upcoming Meeting:

  • An in-person meeting is scheduled for March 1st at 6 PM.
